. Management committee
Management committee is the governing authority subject to directions provided by the general meeting. CHESS has a management committee of 9 members.
The 9 members elect executive officials i.e. the Chairperson, Vice-chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer from the committee.
The committee is in charge of managing all the affairs of the organisation and meets on monthly basis to transact business or more regularly when need arises.
The management committee serves for one-year term after which three members are expected to retire.
This staggering of the committee's retirement ensures continuity.
