This will be a Christian institution that will offer hope and a future to our members through increased project financing. The bank will reach out to all Kenyans as we endeavor to help eradicate the poverty cancer in our Nation.

Capacity Building
. CHESS Ltd. offers business counseling, mentoring, and technical training to her members.
This is done with a view to equipping them with appropriate skills and technology, and exposing them to the various business opportunities that they can pursue. Market survey is also done to ensure our members venture in viable projects.
CHESS has the objective of upgrading Micro and Small Enterprises for profitability, promoting investment for business growth and enhancing professionalism for sustained growth. |
Capitalization
CHESS Ltd. encourages venture capital by our partners to invest in out members' projects.
We shall also endeavor to continue soliciting for funds from friends locally and internationally to maintain a solid base for member's business capitalization. |
Christian Witness
CHESS Ltd. aims to be a Christian witness in the capitalistic set up in entrepreneur development.
We shall at all times witness for Christ as we invest on the talents to make them grow. We believe all our members have been given the five talents.
CHESS shall endeavor to provide the environmental support to increase the talents a hundredfold. |
Linkages
CHESS Ltd. shall facilitate member's entry into innovative ventures and become trailblazers in uncharted territories. We aim to establish a synergy for full accomplishment of our vision.
CHESS Ltd. recognizes the need to create a network amongst its members and linkages with other like organizations.
This is aimed at affording our members opportunities to share and exchange information on areas like production, marketing and product distribution for mutual benefit. We shall also strive to link up our members with other businessmen within and without a view to expanding their boundaries. |
Secretariat
The secretariat was started in 1999 to serve as coordination point of CHESS Ltd activities.
Based in Kiambu (20 km from Nairobi), the secretariat has helped in dissemination of information on CHESS operations, assisting in recruitment and registration of membership and offering other like services as well as keeping the books and accounts. We also aim at creating resource center open to the members.
The center shall provide easy access to books, reports, periodicals, prints, videotapes and manuals. The secretariat's collection shall also consist of publication on computerized database to facilitate easy access to information on wide range of topics.
